EDA Consulting Engineers Ltd was formed in 2013 with the long term perspective of becoming a well-known engineering company in the market
EDA is an established engineering company and specialises in civil and structural design of residential, commercial and industrial buildings and civil structures. We are Hamilton based and have completed projects in Auckland, Thames/Coromandel, Waikato, Tauranga, Wellington and other areas of New Zealand.
We strive to provide practical and cost-effective engineering, designs and assessments in a timely manner, whilst maintaining quality and integrity. Our list of clients include builders, architects, developers, contractors and other engineering professionals.

Engineering Team
Daven Nair – Director/Structural Engineer, CMEngNZ, CPEng, IntPE(NZ)
Daven started his engineering career in 2004 after graduating from The University of Auckland. He has experience in civil and structural design of residential buildings, low rise commercial and industrial buildings, farm bridges, construction monitoring and condition inspection & assessment of structures.
He is a skilled civil and structural engineer who is able to solve complex engineering problems. He is a chartered member of Engineering NZ and a chartered professional engineer.
Sarjih Kumar – Structural Engineer, MEngNZ
Sarjih started his engineering career in 2001 after completing his Advance Diploma in Civil Engineering from overseas. He graduated in 2014 from Unitec in NZ with a BEngTech (Civil). Sarjih has extensive work experience in structural design of residential buildings, multi-unit duplex and construction monitoring.
He is a member of Engineering NZ and is currently working towards his chartered professional engineer status.
